Hawaii Island police are investigating a burglary from O Ka’u Kakou’s storage building in Punaluu.

Sometime between July 2 and July 7, the nonprofit’s storage building on Alanui Road was forcibly entered and several items were removed. Among the items taken were four 20-by 20-foot gray heavy-duty canvases along with metal fittings painted red, blue and yellow. Also removed were six 10-by10-foot pop-up tents with painted yellow markings and the letters “OKK” on the tent legs, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
